TDR WDA® is a complete Top ShelfTM Winterized Premium Diesel Fuel Additive designed to improve the performance and reliability of all Ultra Low Sulfur diesel fuels. This one of a kind additive offers the performance package of the TDR-FL in conjunction with our cold weather protection, using state of the art cold flow additives and a special wax dispersing technology to keep the waxes suspended in new ultra low diesel fuels.
This ’state of the art’ winterization formulation contains advanced Technology Injection Cleaners, patented Lubricity Agents, Combustion Improvers, efficient Smoke Suppressants, non-alcohol De-icer, unique Wax Dispersant Additive and superior Flow Improvers for cold weather dependability.
Cetane Improver: This chemistry will raise the engine Cetane number between 5 to 7 numbers. What does this mean for you? More Horse Power, Easier Starting, Quieter Idling and Improved Fuel Economy of 5% or better. Top ShelfTM TDR WDA® additive will help the fuel burn more complete in all diesel engines including the newer common rail engines, reducing the amount of un-burnt hydrocarbons content gathered on the DPF filter, reduces the amount of times the engine has to Regenerate the DPF filter, saving you money.
Detergency: The heart of your engine is your fuel system and it is very important to keep the fuel injector system clean and free of deposit build-up. The TDR WDA® meets tier 3 & Tier 4 Detergency. This additive has been certified to eliminate both conventional diesel injector nozzle deposits as well as internal diesel injector deposits(IDID) in both older and newer engines.
Lubrication: This additive helps to prevent fuel system wear by providing a lubricity rating to the fuel that exceeds the ASTM D-975 Diesel Fuel Requirement Specification for maximum engine protection (Less than 520 UM wear scar by the HFRR Lubricity Test).
De-icer: Anti-icer reduces the typical diesel fuel moisture content in fuel to a Freeze Point of –40F. Stops fuel line water/freeze ups.
Wax Dispersing Additives (WDATM) is an exclusive additive chemistry offered by Amalgamated, Inc®. Along with other cold flow improvers, WDATM works to reduce the paraffin wax crystal size as well as the shape of the wax crystals. It does this at fuel temperatures below the fuel Cloud Point allowing these smaller wax crystals to disperse throughout the fuel matrix. This permits the solidified paraffin content (wax) to go through fuel filters and minimize or eliminate any engine operability problems with fuel filter plugging below the Cloud Point temperature. Using WDATM in distillate fuels (including Bio-Diesel blends and fuel oils) also helps to lower the CFPP (Cold Filter Plugging Point) temperature and can provide dramatically improved cold weather operability of the fuels in ambient temperatures as low as 25 to 30 degrees below the fuel Cloud Point temperature.
CFPP & Pour Point Depressants: Lowers the CFPP (Cold Filter Plugging Point) temperature by 25F and reduces the fuel pour point (Jell Point) by as much as 35 degrees F.
