Amalgamated, Inc's latest Top ShelfTM winter diesel fuel additive contains the greatest concentration of MPG improving chemsitry currently available. Additive user expecations ebb and flow around three points:
- OEM Technological Advancements - which include governmental emmissions compliance mandates. of which the testing anticipates a 51+ cetane fuel being used
- Fuel Quality - the last major mandated change in fuel specfications lowered the sulfur content for on road diesel fuel to 15ppm or less. In the US, the minimum accepted cetane number is 40 (far less than the 51+ number the OEMs expect)
- Price - the more chemistry included the heavier the treat ratio is needed to achieve suffiecient chemistry for maximum performance results. Combustion improvers can be the most costly of chemical components.
TDR-WDA PLUSTM consists of a broad spectrum of maximum chemistry as the next generation of TDR winter diesel fuel additives. It is ideal for those diesel operators who recognize the need for quick starting, smoother idling, and whose regular fuel supply is diverse, inconsistent, or offers poor combustion properties (a cetane number of 45 or less.)
