WINTER PRO® WDA™

WINTER PRO^® WDA^TM is a specialized winter diesel fuel additive with unique ‘state-of-the-art’ “Wax Dispersing Additives”.   Wax Dispersing Additives (WDA^TM), are an exclusive additive from Amalgamated, Inc.  WDA^TM, along with other cold flow improvers, reduces the paraffin wax crystal size as well as the shape of the wax crystals. It does this at fuel temperatures below the fuel Cloud Point allowing these smaller wax crystals to disperse throughout the fuel matrix.  This permits the solidified paraffin content (wax) to go through fuel filters and minimize or eliminate any engine operability problems with fuel filter plugging below the Cloud Point temperature.  Using WDA^TM in distillate fuels (including Bio-Diesel blends and fuel oils) also helps to lower the CFPP(Cold Filter Plugging Point) temperature and can provide dramatically improved cold weather operability of the fuels in ambient temperatures of 25 degrees or more below the fuel Cloud Point temperature. Treat ratio is 1:1500  or 1:1000 for hard to treat fuels.

 

WINTER PRO^® WDA^TM contains a non-alcohol de-icer agent which molecularly combines with moisture in the distillate (diesel) fuels and disperses moisture to keep fuel lines from freezing down to -40 degrees F (or lower).

 

WINTER PRO^® WDA^TM lowers the CFPP (Cold Filter Plugging Point) temperature by 25 degrees F or more in winter diesel fuels.

 

^{WINTER PRO® WDATM} reduces Pour Point (gel or solidification point) of winter diesel fuels by 40 degrees F.
